9176 Dual-Contact SSL IDC Connectors KYOCERA AVX 9176 Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) are surface-mount dual-contact connectors that accept 18AWG to 24AWG wires with an insulation diameter ranging from 1.1mm to 2.1mm. The connectors support a 10A current rating with two large SMT solder tails per wire to provide maximum stability on the PCB, 1p to 3p configuration, and can be end-stackable for higher pin counts. Optional locking strain relief caps act as the termination tool for severe vibration applications. Part of the 917x family, the 9176 IDCs allow simplicity in connecting individual wires directly to a PCB and have been tested to automotive levels of shock, vibration, and temperature cycling to demonstrate reliability and robustness.
