This gate driver is galvanically isolated and incorporates on-chip coreless transformer technology to enable 3.75kVrms input to output isolated voltage and high transient immunity (>,50kV/µs). The SA6880-S gate driver offers various integrated IGBT protection functions. These functions include IGBT soft turn-off, Desaturation (DESAT) detection, active miller-current clamp, high side Undervoltage Lockout UVLO protection with feedback, and fault sensing/reporting to system controller. This gate driver features short propagation delay and small timing-skew that helps in achieving optimum performance at higher switching speeds.
