These WR-FPC series ZIF connectors feature a rotating flip lock actuator that allows easy insertion of the FPC. The actuator is fully rotated to open, the FPC inserted and the actuator is then rotated back to lock the FPC in place. This flip lock actuator provides added retention to the FPC resulting in a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. Brass solder tabs on either side of the connector help to secure the connector to the PCB.
