ABOUT MANUFACTURERSĘDZISZÓW is a brand of the Polish manufacturer of filters for the automotive, industry and agriculture, PZL SĘDZISZÓW.

The company's headquarters is located in Sędziszów Małopolski in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (21 km from Rzeszów).

SĘDZISZÓW was established in 1939, then nationalized in 1950 under the name ZPT (Zakłady Przemysłu Terenowego) to produce the first air filters for STAR G-50 trucks in 1955.

The company gradually expanded its range of products sold throughout Europe.

In the 1970s, the factory took on its current name Wytwórnia Filtrów 'PZL Sędziszów'.

Filters produced at PZL "Sędziszów" were used in most large Polish plants . This group included, among others: FSO Warszawa, ZM Ursus, FSC Starachowice, Hydral Wrocław and WSK Mielec. The expansion of production allowed the creation of filters used not only in the automotive industry, but also in agriculture, military and aviation. The quality of the offered goods made filters with the PZL logo one of the most recognizable products in the Polish automotive industry.

In August 2012, 85% of the factory's share capital was acquired by Unimot Express - one of the leading distributors of fuels, oils and propellants.
