Product description: An important element of the ventilation system is the cabin filter, also known as the anti-dust filter. Its task is to clean the air forced into the vehicle interior. The cabin filter is installed in a special chamber near the vehicle's windshield. There are standard filters available on the market with a filter element made of special paper or non-woven fabric that is more resistant to mold, as well as carbon filters with an additional layer of activated carbon. Cabin filters clean the air blown into the car cabin from dust, sand, pollen, fungus spores, smoke, asphalt particles and other pollutants. Activated carbon filters additionally prevent unpleasant odors and harmful components of exhaust gases from entering. An efficient cabin filter reduces the risk of allergic reactions of the mucous membranes of the eyes and nose, infections or irritations of the respiratory system of vehicle users, and improves driving comfort. The filter gradually becomes clogged during operation, allowing less and less air into the cabin. Additionally, contaminants accumulating on the cabin filter enable the development of pathogens and molds that can cause respiratory diseases. For this reason, it should be replaced approximately every 15,000 kilometers or at least once a year.
