☑️ Product description - Engine oil constantly circulates around the engine, cooling it and cleaning it from the remains of burnt fuel. To extend the life of the drive unit, an oil filter is screwed to the engine block. It captures soot particles and other contaminants contained in the oil. A worn oil filter impedes flow and reduces oil pressure in the lubrication system. Deterioration of engine lubrication impairs its operation and may result in overheating of the drive unit. A clogged filter may damage the oil pump and then cause the engine to seize. The filter should be replaced every time the oil is changed and in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's requirements. Leaving the old filter will cause previously caught contaminants to enter the engine along with the new oil. Apparent savings, i.e. not replacing the oil filter, have a negative impact on the life of the drive unit.
