Fuel filters Modern combustion engines, due to their technologically advanced design, require increasingly higher fuel quality. The current standard for purification accuracy is 7-25 µm for pre-filters and 3-5 µm for fine filters, and water removal is over 99%. Donaldson engineers try to stay ahead of these requirements by constantly working on the development of new filter materials.
