RJ45 Punch Down Plugs Bel Stewart RJ45 Punch Down Plugs feature Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A Ethernet solutions designed for quick and easy field terminations. The RJ45 series also includes Cat8.1 field terminatable RJ45 plugs that are backward compatible with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a. The Cat6 punch-down plug is suitable for 1G Base-T networks, while the Cat6A is designed for 10G Base-T networks. These plugs terminate 26AWG to 23AWG cables with a diameter over the insulation of up to 1.6mm (0.063') and utilize robust zinc die-cast housings and latch protectors. These plugs accept an overall cable OD of 6mm (0.236') to 8mm (0.315') and offer built-in compression strain relief.
