    Description
    SMFxxA ESD Protection Diodes Vishay SMFxxA ESD protection diodes feature a high surge capability of 200W at 10/1000µs, excellent clamping capability from 9.2V to 95V, and Low incremental surge resistance. With the low 1mm profile of their SMF package, 'Low-Noise' technology, and fast response times, these diodes are ideal for line transient voltage protection in portable electronics including laptops, notebooks, tablets, and external hard drives. The protection diodes provide ESD capability of ±30kV (air and contact discharge) in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2, support high-temperature soldering to 260°C/10s at their terminals, and meet the MSL Level 1 standard per J-STD-020. The Vishay SMFxxA ESD is now available in lead-free, lead-free AEC-Q101 qualified, halogen-free, and halogen-free AEC-Q101 qualified.
