NOTE: the tester does not check the installation in LED-based trailers, LED technology lamps have too low a load and the tester doesn't see them! ! !

TESTER designed for quick checking of a car hitch socket or 12V trailer lighting. With this equipped set, you will be able to handle both 7- and 13-pole installations perfectly. Of course, using 13PIN to 7PIN adapters you will be able to check all lights except the reversing light. This tester allows you to easily identify problems related to improper functioning of the trailer lighting. 6 diagnostic positions of the socket or plug are analyzed:

left direction

right direction

left position

right position

STOP

fog light

The check can be done in 3 ways:

using the test button with the vehicle lights off

testing the vehicle lights individually (you can test without batteries)

using the test - check the trailer lights and ground

Positions 1 and 3 require the use of a 9V battery, which not included. The detailed method of using the tester is described in a very accessible form in the attached user manual in Polish.

ATTENTION! ! ! Never connect the trailer and the vehicle to the tester at the same time, this may cause problems with the electrical installation or damage the tester. The ADAPTERS from the set can also be successfully used to connect the trailer: a 13-pin plug to a 7-pin socket or a 7-pin plug to a 13-pin socket.
