Cyanoacrylate glue HYSOFIX 712 - 50g HYSOFIX 712 is a new generation triple distillation glue. Adhesive based on modified methylcyanoacrylate intended for joining a wide group of materials: metal, wood, porcelain, glass, ceramics, rubber, PVC (gluing tarpaulins, banners) and other materials and combinations of these materials.
Adhesive particularly suitable for joining small parts.
The adhesive has good fatigue resistance, very high shear and tensile strength.
How to use the glue correctly?Glued parts must be joined quickly because the shelf life of the glue is very short.
Air humidity is generally sufficient to initiate hardening in a few seconds and achieve manual strength (full mechanical strength and chemical resistance is achieved only after 24 hours).
The best results are obtained at a relative air humidity of 40-60%.
Activators should be used to accelerate the polymerization and hardening process.
The size of the gap also has a significant impact on the speed of hardening (the larger the gap, the slower the glue sets) and the type of glued materials.
Advantages: 6 times greater dynamic strength and 10 times greater durability peeling
Compared to conventional cyanoacrylate adhesives, very high shear strength (240 kg/cm2 in the case of a steel-steel connection)
Temperature load capacity up to +135°C (with such a high load, the adhesive has a shear strength of 60 kg/cm² in the case of a steel-steel connection)
Very good resistance to water, which is unique for cyanoacrylate adhesives with a viscosity of approx. 3,000 cPs.:

Initial strength aluminum 30 - 50 seconds
Initial strength rubber 20 - 40 seconds
Full strength 24 hours
Gluing speed with active <, 6 [seconds]
Gluing speed without activation. 5...60 [seconds]
Solvent content: none
Preparation: Joined elements should be thoroughly cleaned of remnants of old glue and degreased well (IPA plastics), preferably with REINIGER remover (do not use gasoline or solvents)
HYSOFIX 712 glue should be applied sparingly to one of the glued surfaces and quickly press the bonded parts.
Strength is achieved in a few to a dozen or so seconds.
Full hardening after 24 hours.
The best conditions are achieved by gluing in optimal conditions, i.e. at room temperature (approx. +20°C) and at a relative air humidity of approx. 65%.
When gluing non-bondable materials (polyolefins), the surface of the material should be activated with PRIMER PP/PE.
The adhesive itself can be activated with AKTYWATOR C, which accelerates the action of glue and hardens its excess. We use the activator to wet the glue in the joint or to wet the joint surfaces.
