Truma Saphir Saphir Comfort RC is a 2400W air conditioner with a 1700W heat pump function. This is a compact and lightweight device, specially developed for use in caravans and motorhomes, intended for installation inside the vehicle. This shifts the center of gravity downwards. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the device fits, for example, into any standard seat in a caravan or camper. In terms of weight, the Saphir family systems are exceptionally light, especially thanks to the special EPP housing technology, and set standards for modern air conditioning devices. The temperature is set and regulated fully automatically using a clear infrared remote control, and the operation of the systems can be programmed using the integrated timer. A stream of cooled and dehumidified air is evenly distributed throughout the interior via at least 3 adjustable air vents. Optionally, you can also buy pipes and air outlets and then distribute the installations around the vehicle, thanks to which the cold air is even more effectively distributed throughout the caravan or camper (an example diagram is visible in photo no. 4). Thanks to the standard use of particulate filters, Saphir systems are also suitable for allergy sufferers, because the air is also purified at the same time. Thanks to the reversible cooling circulation system, it can also be used as a heat pump radiator. The device with a heating power of 1700W generates pleasant warmth, especially in spring and autumn. With a cooling power of 2400W, it is intended for vehicles with a length of 5.5 to approximately 6.5 meters. The integrated sleep mode provides particular comfort at night when the speed of the fans (condenser and evaporator fans) is reduced, thanks to which the air conditioning system operates exceptionally quietly.
