transport belt with tensioner in accordance with the PN-EN 12195-2 standard ,
transport belt compliant with transport requirements in Germany and Austria.
Characteristics of the ERGO 500 daN belt - long partThe ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt consists of a long one - ended with a hook on one side. To build a complete mounting system, you also need the so-called short part of the belt with a tensioner (not included). To immobilize the load, two fastening points are necessary and the hooks of such a complex fastening system are attached to them. These points may be in the ground-ground relations in the case of securing the load by strapping or the load-ground in the case of simple lashing.
The offered long part of the ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt, with a belt width of 50 mm, is used primarily for securing cargo in road transport in Germany and Austria. By obtaining a higher STF value than in classic transport belts, and thus better pressing the load to the ground, we can immobilize it more effectively and secure it better.
ERGO 500 belt ends - long partThe long part of the ERGO 500 daN 5 ton 50 mm belt has a double standard as standard hook (hook with a double claw), marked as end D1.
The strength of the long part of the ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt. As in the case of every transport belt, also in the case of the ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt, the operating parameters are determined by its rating label. Here are the most important technical data that should be included on its label: STF – standard tension force, i.e. nominal tension force. This is the force with which the load will be pressed to the ground. The ERGO 500 daN belt has this value higher than standard transport belts, thanks to the reinforced structure of the tensioner. The ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt has an STF parameter of 500 daN (500 kg).
LC – lashing capacity, i.e. the ability to fasten the belt. This is the maximum load on the transport belt at which it will not be damaged. The value is always given for simple lashing and for lashing the load. The ERGO belt 500 daN 5 tons has an LC parameter of 2500 / 5000 daN (straight/strapping), i.e. 2.5 / 5 tons.
LGL - this is the actual length of the transport belt along with its elements such as hooks.
Each of our ERGO belts 500 daN 5 tons complies with the PN-EN 12195-2 standard and this is confirmed by its label.
The label may also contain other additional information.

Please remember that:
the color of the transport belt tape does not reflect its strength,
the European standard does not specify or require the use-by date of the transport belt,
the absence of a transport belt label or its illegibility exclude the transport belt from further use,
a transport belt in the European Union cannot contain the CE marking on the label.
ATTENTION
The color of the transport belt tape does not reflect its strength!
The strength parameters of the transport belt are always included on the belt label, which is the only and reliable information about its parameters!
