Two-piece transport/fastening belts, belt width 50 mm, total length 8 m, Ergo 500 tensioner (500 daN). The complete belt consists of two parts, a short one - with a tensioner and a long one - with a belt. Both parts of the belt are equipped with D1 endings - double hook.

The belt has a reinforced version of the tensioner (ERGO 500).

Characteristics of the ERGO 500 daNPas ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt is constructed, like other two-part belts, of two parts: a long one - ended with a hook on one side and a short one - with a tensioner and finished hook. To immobilize the load, two attachment points are needed to attach the belt hooks. These points may be in the ground-ground relations in the case of securing the load by strapping or the load-ground in the case of simple lashing. The offered two-piece ERGO belt 500 daN 5 tons, with a strap width of 50 mm is used primarily for securing cargo in road transport on in Germany and Austria. It is characterized by a special construction of the tensioner, which has a reinforced structure and an elongated handle. Thanks to this, using the same manual force as in the case of classic transport belts, the ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt can press the load to the ground with a force of up to 500 daN (500 kg). By obtaining a higher STF value than in classic transport belts, and thus better pressing the load to the ground, we can immobilize it more effectively and secure it better.

Strength of the ERGO 500 daN belt: 5 tons As with every transport belt, also in the case of the ERGO 500 belt daN 5 tons, the operating parameters are determined by its rating label. Here are the most important technical data that should be included on its label: STF – standard tension force, i.e. nominal tension force. This is the force with which the load will be pressed to the ground. The ERGO 500 daN belt has this value higher than standard transport belts, thanks to the reinforced structure of the tensioner. The ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt has an STF parameter of 500 daN (500 kg).

LC – lashing capacity, i.e. the ability to fasten the belt. This is the maximum load on the transport belt at which it will not be damaged. The value is always given for simple lashing and for lashing the load. The ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt has an LC parameter of 2500 / 5000 daN (straight/belting), i.e. 2.5 / 5 tons.

SHF – standard hand force, i.e. nominal manual force. This is the maximum force on the tensioner at which it will not be destroyed. The tensioner lever should only be operated by the operator's hands. Do not use any extensions, etc. for tensioning. The ERGO 500 daN 5 ton belt has an SHF parameter of 50 daN.

LGL - this is the actual length of the transport belt along with its elements such as hooks and tensioner. In the case of two-piece belts, information about the length of each part of the belt is included on its label, and the total length of the transport belt is the sum of the lengths of both parts and is typically from 2 to 16 meters (other lengths on request).
