ADR numerical board 300x400mm - any marking.
Please specify what number is to be placed on the ADR board, e.g. 80/1787, 225/2201, 50/1465 in the purchase notes!ADR board - orange reflective information board, placed on vehicles transporting dangerous substances. It contains two identification numbers of the transported substance. It is valid for road transport in countries covered by the ADR agreement.
The board is embossed and meets all the requirements of the ADR agreement regarding fire resistance and light reflection - reflectivity.
ADR plates can contain 2 numbers:
hazard identification number (HIN) - two or three digits at the top of the table
material identification number (UN) - four digits at the bottom of the table
Hazard identification number HIN - meaning of the numbers:
2 gas emission caused by pressure or chemical reaction
3 flammability of liquids (vapours) and gases
4 flammability of solid materials
5 oxidizing effect (sustaining combustion)
6 toxic effect
7 radioactive effect
8 corrosive effect
9 as the first digit: environmental hazard, various hazardous substances
9 as the 2nd or 3rd digit. digit: risk of spontaneous and violent reaction
0 no additional hazard
If there is a double digit in the number, it means the severity of the threat described by it, otherwise zero 0 is used.
The 'X' before the danger number means a total prohibition of contact with the transported material with water. Such material usually reacts strongly with water, e.g. sodium, potassium.
