Type 4X, 6P Polycarbonate & ABS Enclosures Hammond Manufacturing Type 4X, 6P Polycarbonate and General Purpose ABS Enclosures are ideally used for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail-mounted components. The ABS enclosures are molded from general-purpose material that carries a flammability rating of UL 94-HB for indoor use. The polycarbonate versions are UV-stabilized for outdoor use with a UL 94-5VA rating. These enclosures are available in watertight, styled lids, and UL-listed options. Hammond Type 4X, 6P Polycarbonate and General Purpose ABS Enclosures feature a gasket lid with two-piece, tongue-and-groove construction that protects against oil, dust, and water. The lid is secured with M4 stainless steel machine screws that are threaded into integral stainless steel bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly.
