1557 Series Audio Enclosures Hammond Manufacturing 1557 Series Type 4/4X and 6/6P Audio Enclosures feature rounded corners and edges to provide a more modern look while still offering superior watertight ratings. These enclosures can be used in a tabletop configuration or two different wall-mount configurations. The 1557 audio enclosures are ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail-mounted components. Hammond Manufacturing 1557 Type 4/4X and 6/6P Audio Enclosures are available in black or gray UL-listed polycarbonate or ABS plastic. The polycarbonate versions are UV-stabilized for indoor or outdoor use and carry a UL 94-5VA flammability rating. The ABS versions are molded from a general-purpose material with a UL 94-HB flammability rating for indoor use. A gasket lid with a two-piece, tongue-and-groove construction protects against oil, dust, and water. The lineup includes a kit that allows select Hammond enclosures to be mounted securely to a pole.
