1457 Watertight Extruded Aluminum Enclosures Hammond Manufacturing 1457 Watertight Extruded Aluminum Enclosures are heavy-duty enclosures designed to house PC boards or for equipment interfacing. The PCBs mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body. The enclosure body is constructed from one piece of extruded aluminum with a minimum thickness of .06' (1.5 mm) and available with a clear anodized or a black powder paint finish. The body also includes a recessed area for labels or a membrane keypad. Two rugged end panels, painted in black satin powder paint, are provided with or without a mounting flange. Hammond 1457 Watertight Extruded Aluminum Enclosures are designed to meet IP65 ratings.
