1591T & 1591XX Enclosures Hammond Manufacturing 1591T and 1591XX Enclosures are offered in a variety of options, including ABS plastic, polycarbonate, or general-purpose plastic. These enclosures are designed to meet IP54 standards and provide protection against dust and water splashes. The 1591T series features translucent enclosures that are almost completely transparent to blue, white, and near-white LEDs, readouts, and displays, or infrared devices, depending on the model. The 1591T enclosures are ideal for applications where parts, sensors, or indicators need to be visible. The 1591XX series offers standard black and gray versions molded from easy-to-machine, flame-retardant ABS plastic with UL 94V-0 rating. This series also includes transparent blue and economy versions molded from general-purpose, non-flame-retardant plastic. Both the lid and box of 1591XX enclosures contain molded-in PCB standoffs.
