FerroTin electromagnetic shield 320 x 210 x 0.3 mm FerroTin tin-plated steel sheet intended for shielding electronic systems. The material is ferromagnetic - it shields both components of the field: electric and magnetic. This makes it approximately 10 times more effective than a copper screen of the same thickness.
Properties:
Dimensions: 320 x 210 mm,
Thickness 0.3 mm,
Penetration depth: 0.08 mm at 10 kHz,
Excellent solderability,
Efficiency 10 times higher than copper.
Easy soldering
Unlike galvanized sheet metal, our material is covered with tin. It solders perfectly with materials used in electronics. The screen does not dissipate heat as quickly as copper, so a small soldering iron used in electronics is sufficient for soldering.
Simple forming.
The material is easy to process. The elements from the photos were formed by hand, using tin shears and pliers. Soldering was done with ordinary tin and a soldering iron used every day in an electronics workshop. Below are photos of sample elements made of FerroTin sheet metal.
