SINUS voltage converter 12V/230V 3000W The IPS SINUS series of voltage converters is designed to power electrical and electronic devices requiring 230V alternating voltage from batteries and car installations with 12V or 24V direct voltage.

It is most often used in places where there is no possibility of direct connection to the power grid. One of the functions of the converter is to use it as an emergency energy source for devices requiring continuous power supply, such as furnaces, central heating pumps, and support systems.

A characteristic feature of SINUS converters that distinguishes them from classic simple DC/AC converters is the generation of a sinusoidal alternating voltage at the output, identical to that in the power grid. This allows you to power devices equipped with electric motors and transformers, such as power tools, pumps and low-power household appliances. Simple, cheap converters actually produce a square-wave voltage, sometimes incorrectly called a 'modified sine wave'. Such voltage is not suitable for powering inductive or capacitive devices and may damage them.
