The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger is a professional, adaptive, 3-stage DC to DC charger with built-in Bluetooth.

Intended for use in dual-battery installations in vehicles or boats in which the alternator and starter battery are used to charge the home battery. The device can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth, and can be remotely controlled using a remote switch.

The Orion-Tr Smart charger can be used on 12V or 24V installations and is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries. Models with a power of up to 400 W are available, and an unlimited number of devices can be connected in parallel to increase the output power.

It can operate at temperatures of up to 55°C, and maintains full nominal power at temperatures up to 40°C.

Adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm: bulk - absorption - float

In the case of lead-acid batteries, it is important that during shallow deep discharges the absorption time is short to prevent overcharging of the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically extended to ensure that the battery is fully charged again.

For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed, the default is 2 hours.

Alternatively, a constant output voltage can be selected.

The built-in motor shutdown detection system turns the inverter off when the motor is not running. This prevents the starter battery from discharging (details in the owner's manual).

Alternatively, the H terminal (right) of the bipolar connector can be switched to battery positive, or the L (left) terminal of the bipolar connector can be switched to battery negative (or vehicle chassis, for example).
