Proper operation of the alternator is expected at an ambient temperature of -40°C to +45°C and humidity 90%.

Alternator installation: Attention! Before installing the alternator, disconnect the battery in the system. When installing the alternator, you should:

Remove any preservatives from the alternator using rags soaked in gasoline and dry,

Mount the alternator on the engine bracket, without completely tightening the screws securing it to the block,

Place the drive belt on the alternator pulley and adjust its tension,

Set the alternator in the optimal position and tighten the mounting screws,

Connect the wires to the alternator in accordance with the electrical installation diagram vehicle,

Connect the battery terminals and start the vehicle.

The place where the power cable should be connected is marked in red, and the output to the control lamp is marked in blue. Note! Poor belt tension leads to reduced power delivered by the alternator and to undercharging of the battery. Excessive belt tension leads to significant overheating of the alternator bearings and their premature failure.

Attention! Installation of the belt on the alternator pulley should be done without using tools with sharp edges.
