These hinged junction boxes are designed for use as instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures, or electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic control housings. HJ H boxes feature a body formed from 16- or 14-gauge steel with covers formed from 14-gauge steel. They offer smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts, or holes. Welded brackets are provided for enclosure mounting. A continuous hinged cover is secured with stainless steel clamps and screws. These Hammond products meet UL 508 Type 3R, 4, 12, and 13 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, and 13 standards and comply with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12, and 13, JIC EGP-1-1967, and IEC 60529, IP66.
