Thanks to investments in research and technological facilities, the company's scientists constantly improved its products and discovered innovative solutions. In 1940, the angular contact ball bearing was invented, and seven years later the formula used in SKF laboratories to calculate bearing life became a global standard adopted by the ISO organization.

Currently, the company's annual turnover exceeds CZK 60 million, and bearings of this brand are installed, among others, in vehicles manufactured by Daimler, Isuzu and Honda corporations. In addition to bearings used in engines, drive systems and suspensions, SKF also produces seals, lubricants, electrical components and high-quality repair kits for European, Asian and American cars.
