The one-way clutch is designed to protect against excessive torque caused by the inertia of the agricultural machine, which occurs during braking and during complete stopping of the machine. A one-way clutch transmits torque in one direction only by engaging the pawls with the clutch housing. In the opposite direction, the clutch rotates freely. The standard direction of the overrunning clutch is clockwise. The one-way clutch is always mounted on the side of the agricultural machine. If we are unable to install the clutch on the machine side due to design features or a different clutch is installed, you can install a one-way clutch on the shaft on the tractor side.
