The requirements of modern high-performance drives in terms of power transmission in relation to belt technology are greater than ever before. Rapid acceleration and high torque variability place enormous stress and excessive heating on the belt, which reduces its performance. Gates G-Force RedLine CVT belts are made of a unique, patented fiber-reinforced EE (ethylene elastomer) material that provides significantly greater axial stiffness and heat resistance than any other belt component.
