DIN 41612 Type 2C Connectors HARTING has expanded the DIN 41612 Connector line to include the new DIN 41612 Type 2C Connectors. The Type 2C answers the need for smaller packaging using the reliable DIN interface. The HARTING DIN 41612 Type 2C Connectors can be populated with up to 48 contacts (3 rows) and can be used in a variety of applications with latching or screw fitting and for cable-to-board or rear I/O configurations. The straight mounted, crimp pin Type 2C housings incorporate a specially designed hood that simplifies cable assembly processes and provides a secure and reliable strain relief with a cable tie that fixes the cable to the shell housing. Also available are Type 2C solder pin versions in a right angle plug and a straight angle receptacle.
