The HCPL digital isolators are available as single-channel, dual-channel, and quad-channel digital isolators. These isolators have an asymmetric magnetic coupling barrier that offers typical pulse width distortion of 2ns, propagation delay skew of 4ns, and a 100Mbaud data rate. The HPCL digital isolators are available in 8-pin PDIP, 8-pin gull wing, 8-pin SOIC packages, and 16-pin SOIC narrow- and wide-body packages. These isolators operate within a -40°C to +100°C temperature range and a 3V to 5.5V voltage range. Typical applications include digital fieldbus isolation, multiplexed data transmission, computer peripheral interface, high-speed digital systems, isolated data interfaces, and logic level shifting.
