Power Integrations TOPSwitch-JX Series Integrated Off-Line Switchers employ EcoSmart™ Technology which offers no-load consumption below 100mW at 265VAC, up to 750mW standby output power for 1W input at 230VAC, energy efficiency over entire load range, and is ideal for applications from 10W to 245W. TOPSwitch-JX offers high design flexibility for low system cost, with multi-mode PWM control which maximizes efficiency at all loads, accurate programmable current limit, optimized line feed-forward for line ripple rejection, frequency jittering to reduce EMI filter cost, and fully integrated soft-start for minimum start-up stress. The 132kHz operation reduces transformer and power supply size, with a 66kHz option for highest efficiency requirements, and the 725V-rated MOSFET simplifies meeting design derating requirements.
