CFG Metal Foil Current Sense Chip Resistors Bourns CFG Metal Foil Current Sense Chip Resistors help to provide improved heat dissipation and higher reliability due to larger terminations and solder joint surfaces. The series is constructed with a metal foil resistive element mounted on a ceramic substrate for excellent heat conductivity. The metal foil resistive element results in very low inductance, low noise, and high reliability. Bourns CFG resistors are available with low resistance values (down to 5mΩ) and are ideal for current sensing in consumer and telecommunication electronics and industrial automation applications.
