The sensor has 2 floats with magnets and 2 independent reed switches in the body.
The sensor has 4 wires:
- two black ones are the lower float output
- two red ones are the upper float output
Both outputs are shorted in the lower position.

The operation is very simple: when the liquid level is below the floats, both floats are in the lower position, i.e. the outputs are shorted, the water level rising first by the force of buoyancy lifts the lower float (output no. 1 is opened) and then if the liquid level continues to rise, the second float is lifted and the second input is opened.

If we need the opposite action, i.e. shorting the output in the upper float position, just remove the protection (circuit breaker) and simply reverse the float on the guide pin.

You can also mount the sensor in reverse (rotate 180 degrees) then the floats work in reverse, i.e. in the lower position they are open.
