SSOP70 low-profile test socket (SMD) - 70-pin ZIF socket from the renowned Yamaichi company.

Designed for flash memory and other systems in SSOP70 housings.

Socket from the 'identical footprints' series - it can be directly soldered onto extended printed circuit board pads prepared for a system in the SSOP70 housing (e.g. MSP55LV100S flash memory, OKI MR26V256x5 EPROM memory), which enables easy (without the need to desolder and solder the system) replacement of systems, e.g. in prototypes, programmer adapters and test devices.
