Low-profile TSOP40 (SMD) test socket - 40-pin ZIF socket from the renowned Meritec company.

Designed for flash memory and other systems in TSOP40 housings.

Socket from the 'identical footprints' series - it can be directly soldered onto the printed circuit board pads prepared for the system in the TSOP40 housing (e.g. Flash memory series 28/29/39/49F (C/LV/BV) 080/016/032), which allows easy (without the need to desolder and solder the system) replacement of systems, e.g. in prototypes, programmer adapters and test devices.
