8-Bit PIC® MCU Development SchmartModule A The SchmartBoard 8-bit PIC® Microcontroller Development SchmartModule A supports more than 100 different 8-bit Microchip Technology MCUs in an SOIC form factor. This highly flexible, low-cost SchmartBoard development board is fully populated except for the PIC MCU. Designers only need to hand solder the PIC using SchmartBoard´s 'EZ' technology, configure the jumpers for the PIC part number, and start programming. The PIC Microcontroller SchmartModule A is a 2' x 2.5' board with an onboard 5V power regulator and reset button that also supports optional external clock options and ICSP and RJ11 interfaces for programming. This SchmartBoard development board supports 8-bit PICs in 8, 14, 1, 20, and 28-pin SOIC packages.
