DellOrto is an Italian, family company specializing in the production of carburetors and injection systems for combustion engines. The company was founded in Cabiate, Italy in 1933. Its first products were carburetors for motor vehicles. Just before the outbreak of World War II, Dell'Orto began producing aluminum-bodied carburetors used in motorcycle sports at that time. In the early 1960s, Dell'Orto supplied carburetors to Fiat factories as well as to other Italian and foreign vehicle manufacturers.

In the early 1980s, under the leadership of Luigi DellOrto - grandson of Gaetano - the company's founder, the company introduced the first fuel injection system into production.

Today, DellOrto is a world leader in the production of carburetors and fuel supply systems. The company's offer includes car and motorcycle carburetors and fuel injection systems. DellOrto does not forget about users of vintage and racing motorcycles - its offer still includes carburetors, filters and intake systems for classic vehicles, as well as spare parts for old carburetor models. Currently, DellOrto is Gilera's partner in motorcycle sports.
