EBC R They are used in motorcycles standardly equipped with sintermetal pads and in heavy and fast sports motorcycles. They are suitable for all types of discs, but cast iron discs are optimal. R pads show minimal tendency to fading (decreasing braking effectiveness as the pad temperature increases) and are characterized by excellent abrasion resistance. They are equipped with a copper alloy lining pad, and some models, like their original counterparts, are equipped with radiation plates to prevent the terminals from heating up.
