This brake disc has a floating mount, improving the adaptation of the position of the disc to the caliper during braking. This significantly improves braking power and significantly reduces the wear of the disc and brake pads.

The manufacturer's goal was to develop brake discs for motorcycles that would perform better than original discs and products from other manufacturers.

For this purpose, the ECB has been using low-carbon HPSR steel to produce steel for years. As a result, we obtain an 18% higher coefficient of friction, and therefore greater braking power.

Moreover, thanks to the use of this material, EBC discs have become much more resistant to corrosion than cast iron discs and cheaper competitive products. The disc surface is additionally covered with a 3-micron layer of zinc, which will wear off during the first braking. This treatment protects the disc against corrosion before it is installed in the vehicle.

Most models of EBC brake discs are additionally drilled for more effective removal of water and dust from the linings. The number of holes is the smallest possible, because each hole reduces the braking force minimally, but thanks to them we obtain a product that is much more durable than a non-drilled disc.

Before leaving the factory, each disc is machined on lathes with a higher accuracy regime. This procedure confirms that the dial is perfectly round and will be suitable for extreme applications.

The shields have been assigned to motorcycles.
