MLX90380 Position Sensors Melexis MLX90380 Position Sensors are monolithic contactless sensor ICs sensitive to the flux density applied orthogonally and parallel to the IC surface. MLX90380 sensor ICs are used with a rotating permanent magnet which delivers accurate and contactless sine or cosine dual analog output signals. These sensor ICs feature a wide range of operating temperature, supply voltage, and magnetic flux density, which can resolve the angular position of a rotating axis over 360 degrees. Melexis MLX90380 position sensor ICs are available in SOIC-8 (single die) and TSSOP-16 (dual die fully redundant) packages. Typical applications include absolute rotary position sensors, field-oriented motors, and brushless motors.
