    Description
    R5601T Battery Management IC Nisshinbo R5601T Battery Management IC is an analog front-end IC designed for the evaluation of microcontrollers with overcurrent protection for multi-cell Li-ion/Li-polymer battery packs. This IC supports battery packs consisting of up to five cells in series. The R5601T offers a cell selection switch with a decoder that selects the cell to be monitored based on input signals from external devices. Nisshinbo R5601T Battery Management IC integrates an amplifier that outputs the monitored battery voltage and an additional amplifier that monitors charge and discharge current. The IC consists of a low-current voltage regulator, a thermal shutdown circuit, and an alert output pin, and features error notification to external devices and various logic circuits. The R5601T IC is available in 16-pin TSSOP package and is ideal for power management devices such as power storage and vacuum cleaners.
