    Description
    R5449Z Series 1-Cell Li-ion Battery Protection IC Nisshinbo R5449Z Series 1-Cell Li-ion Battery Protection IC provides overcharge, over-discharge, discharge/charge overcurrent, and temperature detections. This IC comes with a built-in driver for high-side Nch MOSFETs and temperature protection. This IC provides a high-accuracy detection at overcharge/overcurrent and a high-accuracy charge inhibition for 0V battery. The R5449Z battery protection IC can reduce the supply current after over-discharge detection to a minimum by stopping the internal circuits. This battery protection IC features a 6.5V absolute maximum rating, 5µA supply current at normal mode, and 0.04µA standby current (maximum). Typical applications include precision protectors for smartphones and any other electronic gadgets using onboard Li+/Li-polymer batteries.
