It is a special sleeve made of braided fiberglass covered with high-temperature silicone on the outside.

This insulation is installed by stretching it over all types of hoses and electric cables. This insulation is very important in the case of fuel systems of aircraft powered by aviation gasoline, especially automotive gasoline. Many times, the cause of disasters of such aircraft was the phenomenon of gasoline evaporating inside the fuel lines caused by their heating from the engine. This most often happens during short stopovers when the magnetos are not re-tested. This phenomenon causes an immediate reduction in engine operation, most often at a low height during ascent.

The offered insulation is also perfect for protecting electrical installations, because in addition to temperature protection, it protects against abrasion.

The inner diameter of the insulation is approx. 13 mm

Wall thickness is approx. 2.5 mm
