The LEB Connector System has a secure, polarising locking mechanism between the wire housing and PCB header or PCB Plug and Receptacle. The Fork type contacts of the LEB Connector System feature high contact pressure and have a long mating stroke which allows them to cater for thermal expansion of the PCBs. The LEB Connector System also absorbs some misalignment between PCBs in the pitch direction. The design of the LEB connector contacts also caters for slight horizontal offset misalignment between boards in the pitch direction. The housings and headers of the LEB range are polarized to prevent incorrect insertion.
