The lightweight components utilize a terminal position assurance (TPA) pre-lock and enhanced front seal design. This eliminates the need for additional assembly because the TPA and housing are assembled together in one part number. The sealed components achieve high protection levels of IP67 / IP68 / IP6K9K (with backshell). An enhanced front seal remains in place during mating and unmating. These connectors use MCON 1.2 SWS terminals, which offer a 17A current carrying capacity and vibration resistance, in line with USCAR V2 standards.
