These AMPSEAL 16 automotive connectors have colour coding and physical keying to prevent mis-mating. Receptacle housings consist of a plug housing with both interface and wire seals, wire seal cover, PLR and CPA. These AMPSEAL 16 automotive receptacle housings have a standard diameter wire seal and accept a wire size range of 2.18 to 3.67 mm.AMPSEAL 16 series housings are environmentally sealed wire-to-wire and wire-to-device connectors that accept the heavy duty stamped & formed size 16 contacts rated up to 13 amps each. They feature an integrated latch for mating and are available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12-way arrangements. These AMPSEAL 16 housings are available as both male and female components and come as either Thermoplastic or Glass Fibre Reinforced PBT housing material.
