The built-in boost converter develops a 5.5V supply voltage for the TPA2015D1 amplifier, supplying a louder audio output than a stand-alone amplifier directly connected to the battery. The SpeakerGuard AGC adjusts the Class-D gain to limit battery current and prevent heavy clipping.
