M12x1.5 seal for ED WD threaded connectors

ED and WD seals are dedicated to connectors, nipples and power hydraulics adapters. Most often, a given connector has an originally prepared groove for such a seal. You can replace the seal yourself by gently prying it out. It guarantees tightness of the installation.

The gasket is made of NBR material. NBR – is an oil-resistant plate made of a vulcanized rubber mixture. Its properties:

color: black

temperature range: -40 °C to +100 °C

advantage: good resistance to oils, greases, hydraulic fluids and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Reacts well in conditions of use of propane, butane, alcohols, aqueous salt solutions.

disadvantages: not recommended for work in esters, glycol, benzene, chlorinated hydrocarbons

application: in industry for static work , for the production of seals and O-rings, tires, inner tubes, bumpers, hoses for liquid fuels and oils, automotive, petrochemical industries.
