Both series offer 70°C pin temperature and solder, quick-connect, or PCB terminals. The inlets are designed to polarize the line contact of the power mains into the appliance. Typical applications for Schurter 2577 and 2579 IEC Appliance Inlets include portable audio devices, cable boxes, gaming, and consumer products.
