Three testing methods :

using the test button with the vehicle's lights off

using the test - check the trailer lights and ground

The tester does not contain a battery (9V)

!!! The tester will not check the installation in trailers based on LED lighting due to the low load of LED lamps. Never connect the trailer and vehicle to the tester at the same time, it may cause problems with the electrical installation or damage the tester.
